According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 3/1 favorites while the 49ers have the next-best odds at 4/1. Seattle defeated San Francisco in this year's NFC title game in a matchup that many believed featured the two best teams in the league.

Continuing with the odds, the Packers are 15/2 while the Panthers are 12/1 and the Bears and Saints are 14/1, respectively. The Falcons and Eagles are also 16/1, while the Cardinals, Cowboys and Lions are all 18/1, respectively. The Giants are also 22/1.

The long shots to win next year's NFC title are the Rams at 25/1, the Buccaneers and Redskins at 28/1, respectively, and the Vikings, who have the longest odds at 40/1.

The last team to win back-to-back NFC title games was the Packers in 1997 and 1998. Since then, 16 different teams have represented the NFC in the Super Bowl, including the Seahawks last year. The last two NFC title winners came from the West, where the 49ers played the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII and the Seahawks played the Broncos in last year's SBXLVIII.

Last year the 49ers opened as 15/4 favorites to win the NFC title game, while the Seahawks were 9/2 and the Packers were 13/2. The Falcons, whom the Niners beat in the 2014 NFC championship game, were 15/2.
