Washington Huskies Game Notes
Dylan Morris is still trying to earn the title of Washington’s top quarterback, TheAthletic.com reports. Morris is heading into his third season of college football with the Huskies, and has proven that he can be their starting quarterback. Last season, Morris threw for 2458 yards and 14 touchdowns, but he did throw 12 interceptions which is high. Michael Penix is a definite threat to take on the position due to his four years of experience, but Morris is more willing to run the ball than the veteran. He has been a solid player in the fall and has thrown some impressive long passes.
UCLA Bruins Game Notes
Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed 19 of 23 passes for 234 yard and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 45-17 win over Colorado. He also rushed seven times for 56 yards. Thompson-Robinson has aptly led the Bruins to a 4-0 record. A source of improvement for the senior is his improved TD’INT ratio. He’s only thrown one interception over four games and is one pace to outdo any of his previous seasons in Westwood with a completion percentage of 72.6 percent.
