Cedric Tillman announced he is declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft and will opt out of Tennessee's upcoming appearance in the Orange Bowl, Wes Rucker of 247Sports.com reports. Tillman was one of the top wideouts in the breakout 2021 season for the Volunteers' offense, catching 64 of 90 targets for 1,081 and 12 touchdowns. While his production took a step back in 2022, as he was limited to just six appearances due to injury, he still projects to be one of the best pass-catching prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft. Tillman's absence will leave Tennessee even more short-handed with starting quarterback Hendon Hooker also out for the season due to a torn ACL. As a result, expect Ramel Keyton and and Squirrel White to take on bigger roles against Clemson on Friday, Dec. 30.

Clemson Tigers Game Notes

DJ Uiagalelei committed to Oregon State on Friday, joining the program as a transfer from Clemson, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports. After Trevor Lawrence left Clemson for the NFL following the 2020 campaign, Uiagalelei had two up-and-down seasons as the Tigers' top quarterback. Uiagalelei did show significant improvement during the 2022 campaign, throwing for 2,515 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The dual-threat quarterback also had 545 rushing yards and seven additional scores on the ground. However, with an elite prospect in freshman Cade Klubnik waiting and the wings and perhaps in line to usurp him on the depth chart heading into 2023, Uiagalelei elected to enter the portal and quickly found a home elsewhere in the Power Five ranks. He shouldn't face much of a challenge for the starting gig at Oregon State heading into the upcoming campaign.
