Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Spin
Rudy Gobert tallied 16 points (5-of-9 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 16 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots in Monday's 119-115 win over the Kings in 35 minutes. Gobert recorded his third double-double in as many games Monday night, helping to lead the Timberwolves to a critical road victory. After attempting three shots in Sunday's win over the Warriors, the Stifle Tower took nine on Monday. Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) sitting out Monday's game had something to do with that, as there was one less "mouth to feed" within the Timberwolves offense. Gobert's fantasy value should be fine when Towns is on the court due to what he can provide as a rebounder and shot-blocker, the disparity in scoring opportunities is a concern. Gobert's certainly good enough to continue hovering around the top 50 in 9-cat value, but the task gets a little tougher when he's sharing the court with KAT. Towns' absence also meant more opportunities for Naz Reid, who accounted for 18 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes off the bench
Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
Devin Booker led Phoenix with 24 points (7-for-19 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in a 117-103 win over Utah on Monday. Per usual, Book led the scoring barrage for the Suns. He didn’t have a great first half from the floor, as he shot 5-for-14 before the break. He didn't do much after halftime either, as he only took three shots from the floor. This wasn't one of Booker's best games, and he shot worse than 40% from the floor for the first time since before the All-Star break. Still, it was enough for them to get the win, and they strengthened their lead for fourth place in the West.
