Game 6, NHL Stanley Cup Final

Tampa Bay Lightning DFS Spin

Steven Stamkos has been ruled out for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Final. "Hopefully the next time we see him on the ice is for a trophy presentation," said coach Jon Cooper. Stamkos made just one appearance during Tampa Bay's playoff run to the Stanley Cup Final. He only logged 2:47 of ice time in Game 3 versus Dallas and scored one goal on one shot before becoming a spectator again. The Lightning will look to finish the series on Monday night in Game 6.

Dallas Stars DFS Spin

According to Dom Luszczyszyn of The Athletic, Miro Heiskanen is Dallas' favorite for the Conn Smythe Trophy. The Stars currently trail 3-2 in this best-of-seven final, with Heiskanen being a key figure in their journey to this point. The Finnish blueliner has four points through the opening five games of the Stanley Cup Final, but has a total of 26 in his last 26 games. Not only has he been a factor on the score sheet, but Heiskanen has been a stabilizing presence for the Stars from the back. He outdueled Victor Hedman in Game 1, before having a rough Games 2 and 3. Things got better for Heiskanen in Game 4 but it was a return to his usual play in Game 5 as the Stars stayed alive. For Heiskanen to get his hands on the Conn Smythe Trophy, he and his teammates will need to continue to battle and win on both Monday and Wednesday night.

Lightning vs. Stars Game 6 Betting Prediction

The over is now 17-5-4 in the last 26 meetings between these two teams and is 7-2 in the last nine meetings when Dallas is the host team (even though tonight will once again be played on neutral ice). The over is also 35-17-5 in the Lightning’s last 57 games when their opponent allows two goals or less in their previous game, is 16-6-5 in their last 27 Western Conference matchups and is 4-0-3 in their last seven games against the Central. On the other side, the over is 4-0-2 in the Stars’ last six games played on Monday and is 5-0-3 in their last eight games versus Atlantic opponents.
