Brady Prop Odds: Where will QB Land?

Tom Brady NFL Prop Odds, 2/14/20 Which Team will Brady Play for in 2020?

Which team will roster Tom Brady by Week 1o the 2020 NFL regular season? There are odds for a handful of teams, but which ones offer the best bet?

The Odds

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Patriots still have the best odds to roster Brady by Week 1 of the 2020 season at 1/8. The team with the next-best odds are the Chargers at 5/1, followed by the Raiders at 10/1 and the Titans at 15/1. From there, the Bucs and Colts are both 30/1, respectively, while the site also offers 30/1 odds for if Brady retires.

The odds fall off a cliff from there, with the Bears, Broncos, Cowboys and Dolphins listed at 100/1, respectively. The Browns and Steelers have the worst odds offered at 150/1, respectively.

What’s the best play for bettors when it comes to this Brady prop bet? Here are three options.

Goes Back to New England (1/8)

These odds offer zero value, so you’re better off passing but I’m not going to do a write-up on where Brady will land and not discuss the most obvious scenario: He goes back to New England. Why Brady would want to move on, learn a new offensive system and try to win without Bill Belichick is beyond me. Perhaps he wants to prove that he can win without Belichick, but from what we know about Brady, he’s the ultimate competitor. What’s better than six rings? How about seven. Brady knows McDaniels’ system inside and out, he knows the mastermind Belichick will keep the defense competitive and the AFC East, despite Buffalo’s improvement last year, is an utter joke. If he cares first and foremost about winning, than Brady’s best option is to stay right where he is, albeit after signing a lucrative two-year deal.

Tennessee Titans 15/1

I like the Titans as the best non-Patriots option. Brady reportedly has a great relationship with former teammate Mike Vrabel, whose defense stifled Brady and Co. in Wild Card Weekend last season. Granted, the Titans might want to reward fellow free agent Ryan Tannehill for essentially saving their season after Marcus Mariota faltered earlier in the year, but an opportunity to sign Brady to a team that played in the AFC title game last season might be too good to pass up.

Oakland Raiders 10/1

Brady was reportedly spotted with Raiders owner Mark Davis in Las Vegas last month and ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted earlier this month that Jon Gruden’s squad will pursue the quarterback if he doesn’t re-sign with the Patriots. Gruden has never seemed fully enamored with Derek Carr and if the Raiders are looking to make a splash in their first season in Vegas, there’s no bigger splash than signing a six-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Fame quarterback.
