Buffaloes rally past Cardinal
Colorado came from behind Saturday to earn an 81-74 home win over Stanford to improve to 19-5 overall an 8-3 in conference action. The Buffaloes outscored the Cardinal 59-41 in the second half after trailing by 11 at the break. McKinley Wright IV paced Colorado with 21 points on 4-of-8 shooting including 3-of-4 from 3-point distance plus 10-of-11 at the free throw line. He also registered four assists and two rebounds. D'Shawn Schwartz accounted for 20 points and seven boards. Evan Battey contributed 13 points, four dimes and two rebounds. Tyler Bey added 11 points, 12 caroms, two steals and two blocked shots.
Ducks struggle at Beavers
Oregon lost 63-53 Saturday at rival Oregon State to drop to 18-6 overall and 7-4 in the conference. The Ducks were outscored 35-21 in the second half after leading by four at the break. Payton Pritchard led Oregon with 16 points on 7-of-21 shooting including 1-of-8 from 3-point range plus 1-of-2 at the charity stripe. He also recorded nine assists, four rebounds and two steals. Chris Duarte added 11 points, four boards and two steals.
College Basketball Betting Trends
The Buffaloes are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games as an underdog. Colorado is 13-38-1 ATS in its last 52 road games.
The Ducks are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games as a home favorite. The home team is 13-3 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
The Ducks have not lost at home all season and this is a revenge spot after losing 74-65 at Colorado earlier this season. With the added motivation of a first-place tie being on the line, Oregon should be ready to bounce back from two poor performances in a row. The crowd will be loud and supportive and I am betting on Oregon to put together one of its best performances of the season.
