Serge Ibaka (back) will not play in the Clippers season opener on Thursday. Ibaka had surgery on his back over the summer and is slowly working his way into game shape. The Clippers will take their time with the veteran big man, ensuring he is as close to 100% as possible before having him suit up.

Stephen Curry got off to a slow start on Tuesday but the Warriors won the fourth quarter 38-29 over the Lakers and Curry finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and two 3-pointers, despite hitting just 5-of-21 shots. Curry did make all nine of his free throws and had his eighth career triple-double, and his first since way back in 2016. It wasn't exactly pretty, but if you used a Top 3 fantasy pick on Curry you have to be excited about his season debut. Expect him to shoot it better next time out and look for Curry to hit proverbial fantasy home runs all season long. Curry also had the quote of the night when he said after the game that he played "like trash" after his first triple-double in five years.
