Miami Heat DFS Spin

Tyler Herro shot 5-of-9 from beyond the arc in Sunday's 122-117 loss to the Hornets, scoring 24 points (9-of-21 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) with five rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes. Herro entered Sunday shooting 16.2% from three and 39.8% from the field overall in his last six games. While he took a step in the right direction in one of those areas, shooting better than 50% from beyond the arc, he made just four of 12 2-point attempts. Due to his recent slump, Herro is providing 15th-round value in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks, a far cry from his season-long value (5th-round). Backcourt partner Kyle Lowry also struggled on Sunday, going 3-of-11 from the field and finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two 3-pointers. If Miami is to avoid the play-in tournament, they'll need Herro and Lowry to get back on track.

Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin

Cedi Osman was lights out Sunday, hitting 11-of-13 shots and 7-of-7 triples for a game-high 29 points to go with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block across 22 minutes. Osman averaged just 5.0 points and 13.3 minutes across his last 10 games before erupting against Los Angeles. He comfortably led the Cavs in scoring and delivered a season-high point total in the process. Donovan Mitchell logged only 20 minutes in his return, and no Cavs’ starter played more than 27 as Cleveland handily dispatched a Clippers team missing multiple starters. The 29 points match his career-high in the scoring department, and the seven triples are a new personal best for the Turkish forward. Osman's monumental output is a fun storyline but a clear outlier, and there's no reason to add him off the waiver wire.
